- Why aren't they being treated like the criminals they are??

I have to wonder...... if these dirtbag marketers are guilty of violating federal communications law, when isn't the government going after them??
We need a lot more than injunctions. We also need massive fines and maybe a little jail time. Tele-marketers should lose all their profits and THEN have to pay more on top of it. What's the point of fines if all these scumbags ever risk is their ill-gotten gain?
As a group, tele-marketers and spammers are pure parasites in my opinion and we have no business whatsoever treating them as if they are legitimate businesses.
