The RedHat, Mozilla, mySQL, SAMBA etc people are all starving? Care to name some names of those that are starving?

Also, I think you will find that a lot of the "starving" volunteers aid these projects, treating them as perhaps "loss leaders" in the exercise of creating a great resume for themselves.

Is this any less valid in creating your resume than slaving as an (unpaid?) intern at Microsoft?
