Indeed, the article also lists a country known as "Itida". With luck they'll eventually fix their oopsie... But I digress, it seems imitation is definitely not perfect...

Also, American corporations openly CHOOSE to move jobs and the related "brain drain" to these countries, while circumventing all sorts of protection measures (aka "cutting corners"). The subsequent "brain drain", loss of infrastructure, worsening trade deficits, RISK TO EQUIPMENT IN THE OFFSHORED COUNTRIES, increased use of energy supplies which we don't need right now, RISK OF LIFE IN THE OFFSHORED COUNTRIES, and how much frigging further need I go?

Offshoring is a horrible thing. And if American companies feel they need to slash jobs because their executives think that their wages (being 400x that of the average worker) aren't lucrative enough, then don't expect one bloody tear from me when something goes *BOOM* - either figuratively or literally, and examples of BOTH have already happened! For American companies are unwittingly slashing their own wrists. And greed is the ultimate in irrationality.

And while the war on terror is legit, we also helped the same people who are now our enemy - via increased consumption of oil, and the selling of weapons to those countries (Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran were our friends at one point. More like cousins, rather. Friends help you. Friends don't take what you teach them and use the knowledge against you. And China was never our friend...)
