I've been waiting for a suitable home application for quite some time. I really want to do this as well as solar and hydrological (underground water) heating. These are what local, state and federal governments should be supporting, not foreign oil and wars. There should be incentives for builders, buyers, and local governments to support a percentage of all new construction that employs these methods.

I have no problem to retrofit these to my current house if they become reasonably available. We have gosh-awful satellite dishes, antennae, etc. sticking out the tops, sides and ground of homes now, why not wind and solar generators? Environmental architects should be able to work with others to design lovely self sufficient energy homes. Or is there some other agenda that keeps us in unsustainable oil consumption?
