Sue the neighbor . . .
. . . for letting his chicken crap on your roof!

But seriously, the "bird-strike brigade" kills more birds with their windshields while driving to protest the windmills than are killed by the windmills. And don't get me started on how many are killed by domestic and feral housecats "rescued" from the shelters which would have humanely squashed their heads.

Birds die. Some are killed by windmills. Many others are killed by the natural process of drillin for oil and gas. But unlike oil and gas production which require constant maintainance and leak their products all over the place, the windmills require very little maintainance (by comparison) and human intervention. They also do not contribute to pollution and habitat destruction. Thus, the net loss of animals and habitat decreases dramatically.

Next time your neighbor wants another chicken, dump the 100 barrels of oil you windmill saved the environment last year on his chicken coop. That will teach him what is most costly.
