Lawsuit challenges new 'e-annoyance' law

There has been good out of the Bush Administration: The e-annoyance law is one of the good things out of the Bush Administration. It isn't a new law, I understand, but rather just applys existing law regarding telephone calls to email. I see this as a stratigic law suit with no chance of causing change meant to intimidate and anoy those of us who welcomed the law.

Both Sarbanes and Oxley retire at the end of this year and the Sarbanes-Oxley act itself is under attach. This legislation is what has brought us Enron, Tyco, Worldcom, Global Crosssings etc.

Until technolgy workers in the US are trained to know what the law is and know when their employers are breaking it we will have trouble in the industry. Virgins are dangerous. It is one reason why the HI-B visa program should not be extended. In its place a program that tests out-of-country IT workers and assists them in whistleblowing should be implemented. Those AI profesionals in Denmark are attractive but the US doesn't need any cartoon problems. 4000 .dk sites hacked. Argh.
