Here's wha tI don't get:
"All that's required, he said, is that prosecutors claim the surveillance could conceivably be "relevant" to an investigation."

How is that not in direct opposition to the fourth ammendement, which says:
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Has the Patriot Act been in front of the Supreme Court yet?
