What the heck!!!!
Did anybody notice that the date on the byline for this is May 2001?
I may be a little off but I THINK it is now 2008.

Why is this ancient "news" being foisted as somehow being relevant or useful now? About all I can figure is that every contributor and editor at ZDNet is on vacation and just digging up any old crap to feed us.

I say, if you can't be current or at least near current then why send out this stuff just to have a presence? Surely we all have better things to do than read 7 year old stories.
