You don't protect one freedom by taking away another freedom. Such a law, broadly interpreted, would mean that forums like ZDNet TalkBack would have to be regularly flushed. If Joe-Shmoe runs a non-profit website, he has to erase data, simply because he has no "legitimate business" use for it?

How about making a law that says Legislature can't make any laws regulating the Internet?
