Actually this applies not only to the internet, but to everything. Even in politics, it is the lowest among us that allows everyone else to be brought down to nothing. When there is a class with some doofus, everyone else has to wait while the teach gets the slowest dude to catch up to the rest.
We all get brought down by those beneath us. Hence: we serve ourselves best by getting rid of them. It is time for the New World Order.
