- Democrats (and Republicans) both have fascist tendencies
-
Ask yourself if you'd change your stance if the Supreme Court had chosen Gore? If so, you're just being partisan.
I voted against W both times, but Gore started the "let's toss it to the courts to decide" first with the Florida Supreme Court (which by the way, the law was pretty clear about when the election had to be certified ... and the Florida court ignored the law).
The New Jersey Supreme Court also ignored the law in the 2002 sentate race, allowing the Democrats to switch the names on the ballot after the deadline (see http://www.pbs.org/newshour/vote2002/races/nj_senate.html).
So let's face it, both major political parties don't care about the law or what's right; they only care about gaining power. Very few elected officals are principal driven (when the principal is anything but power and money for them).
So will you cower and support fascism,
Given the level of "take control via regulation" that the Democrats -- and especially Al Gore -- espouse, I would say that the Democrats don't have much stance in calling Republicans fascists. - Posted by: __howard__ Posted on: 01/30/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
