I only fault the makers with the stupidity
of leaving such code in whereas the gaming fanbase has enough developers and coders who could and did find the 'unused' code that we all know and love as Hot Coffee. If you're trying to get your game rated not as mature and you think this content code would push you into that area, you don't leave it 'unaccessed' but remove it from the base altogether - clear clean and simple.

I don't care one way or another about the coffee content, just that it wasn't the best way to present the final product with security by obscurity of code. It would and did bring too much scrutiny to an area of entertainment that doesn't enjoy the level of social awareness and status that music or television has engrained (remember Elvis was the downfall of a generation!!) But back to gaming, did the hacking and modding communities suddenly move to a different planet Rockstar??

As for Congressmen/women, stop playing the soundbytes for re-election. Work with the laws you've got versus adding on more than you poorly enact/enforce before you come up with totally ridiculour penalties on a failed system you're a part of making.

And I worry just as much about adults who've played video games forever in comparison to kids who got a hold of Grand Theft or Battlefront whatever or BMXXX. You can read anything into a poll or statistic.
