This seems like an idea that could really go down the tubes quickly. It's also interesting to note that before the U.S. invaded Iraq, the country was not apart of our normal copyright coverage. In other words, if you could obtain photos, video or whatever from Iraq, and the material was created in Iraq by an Iraqi citizen, the material was automatically public domain in the United States. Since the Iraq now has a new government, this may have changed.
