I thought they switched to OSX and G5's back in 2003
At least that's what they said here:

Remember though, that the computer system Pixar uses doesn't sell Macs to Joe Average. Being able to play ESPN highlights and Disney movies and use all the Apple innovations when doing so, will sell.
