The Wookiee case
I'm impressed that the author can actually draw an analogy between the hacker cases and an episode of South Park! Wow! I'm not trying to be facetious. In a way I agree with his analogy. The fact that millions upon millions of people are using Windows doesn't make a lot of sense from a security standpoint, but then things in the real world don't necessarily have to make sense, even though they are true.

As I was reading the article, another part of the "Wookiee trial" episode came to mind. The Cochran-like lawyer, as he is making his incomprehensible closing argument, realizes that the jury is utterly befuddled, and decides to top it off by bringing out a monkey doll, thrusting it at the jury yelling, "Look at the monkey! Look at the monkey!" One juror gets so whacked out that he goes "Aaaaaah!" and his head explodes. Was that the same one about sexual harrassment rules being introduced into the schools, and how there were all these lawsuits against schools, and that they were bad? I forget.

Anyway, thank you for making a good point while being entertaining that the same time.
