When you consider that the internet was made and utilized primarily by UNIX machines in the beginning, easiest way to secure it would be to remove ALL the windows machines. Then all the malicious attacks would be on UNIX machines. One of those never-ending stories. Here is my point: windows users either do not or choose not to install updates. My idea is this, you become infected on my network, your banned for 6 months. If you don't know how to install updates, return the computer. I even setup push installs for some customers. There is no excuse not to install a patch because you don't know or are lazy.
