HP and ENERGY...
They do not understand the simple law of ... - every job requires energy.

Look at the situation created by HP:

HP took upon themselves too many acquisitions; they are trying to make too many changes that will force all people of HP to spend their so-called extra energy to handle extra informational/physical pressure, etc.

They never asked the MOST IMPORTANT question in this situation ? do their workers (CEOs included) have this extra energy to perform the tasks they need (Note: processing of new information like how to handle the acquisitions also requires extra energy).

If they don?t increase the energy reserves of people ? it doesn?t matter that theoretically the acquisitions/changes have to bring extra profits ? suffered by energy deficiency people won?t let it happen. It?s not because they intentionally want to hurt the company ? they actually don?t, but because of innate genetically build-in self-defense mechanism that turns on to protecting the body/mind from dangerous overload = on the subconscious level the workers will fight with what they were forced to do.

Clue ? coffee and the like stimulants, as well as ?motivation? from well-known motivational-inspirational gurus actually decrease energy reserves. If you do not have enough reserves or are under long-lasting pressure like in this HP situation ? they in fact hurt you because they initially take a lot of energy to be processed (it can be overcome, but the way is quite different from what is well-known).

Why is caring about energy reserves of people so important? Because people do the job, not marketing or ?motivational? theories or money. If people do not have necessary energy to do the job ? it doesn?t matter how much will you pay them ? they are unable to accomplish the task anyway.

It?s like if you took a long distance ride, you can force a horse to run faster and faster, but it will die before you?ll reach the finish. Same can happen to HP. In this case (overload ability of people to handle ...) even the best advertisement/marketing/etc. won?t help the company (not enough energy to make it work as it should).

Thus, the question here, does HP prepare people to the changes (does HP increases their ability to withstand extra informational, etc. pressure)?

I do not see any signs of it. So the expected result ? a new struggle for survival. HP did not learn the lesson with Compaq and the consequences are hunting HP today.

Will HP survive this time? I am not sure ... Their ?too energetic? executive are going to kill the company by overloading capabilities of what people can bare.

I?ll rephrase what ancients talk about ? ?The less the positive job is ? the more people get involved.?

I like HP and would feel sorry if it will shoot itself due to the enormous activity of its CEOs in the wrong direction.
