It Won't Trigger Reform
In fact Congress is debating 4 new laws that make the DMCA look tame. They aren't even pretending anymore that this is about stopping internet piracy - Read up on the new analog hole bill http://www.freedom-to-tinker.com/ in which one mandated componet is patented and you can see it if you pay 10,000 and sign a NDA and see the digital radio restrictions and they came up with... this new dog of a bill was just introduced that makes it ilegal to invent new media technology http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20060121-6025.html
