There's a big problem with dual booting.
Once you're booted into Windows, your OS X and Linux partitions become vulnerable as Windows doesn't care about permission settings. Suddenly your "secure" environments are at the mercy of the plethora of malware that infests Windows.

Arguably, the better way would be to run Windows in a Virtual Machine from a disk image/virtual drive. This would contain the OS and prevent malicious software from damaging other software components of the computer.

Plus, it would also allow you to maintain multiple versions of Windows "installed" on your computer. You can have a virtual drive for Windows 98, 2000, XP, and eventually Vista. You can also have different combinations and versions of Internet Explorer on different versions of Windows.

For a web developer, that would be a godsend. You'd have your Mac for main web development (that is, assuming you're not using client-side ActiveX controls) with a Virtual Machine running various versions of Windows, service packs with known incompatabilities, and different versions of Internet Explorer.

Everything from a single computer. Not to mention how handy it would be for Law students and CAD professionals. Macintoshes are still widely used in Law, probably left over from the old Hypercard days. However, the most widely used testing software is Windows only (go figure.) Incidently, the most popular CAD software is AutoDesk/AutoCAD.
