How many times should you pay?
If RIAA, Sony et al had their way - every time you listen to it - like the old time juke box. Pay a quarter every time you listen.

I definately feel that the RIAA is or has (or both) been going overboard. CD sales are down because there just ain't any good stuff being made any more. That rap junk is only good for rattling your car trunk (bo-o-o-m, boom boom), and the other stuff - why it's rare to find more than two good songs on an album anymore ( as if it was ever easy to find more than two).

My honest advice to songwriters and musicians - set up your own publishing companies, and record companies. Keep title to your stuff. Don't let the big corporations get YOUR IP so that they own you.
