Addendum
Just an add on to what I posted last night.

Everyone has to eat, everyone has to have someplace to live, everyone has to buy clothes, everyone has to have electricity and heat, and where I live everyone has to have transportation and buy gasoline because public transportation is virtually non-existant.

Everything else that people spend money on is money that they choose to spend for things that they want.

And even with the necessities choices can be made. My heating bills are lower than most people because I choose to wear more clothes and keep the thermostat turned down. I choose to own a car that gets good gas mileage rather than drive some behemoth SUV that gets 12 mpg. etc. I'm not picking on other peoples choices, I'm just saying the choices are there.

That is why it bothers me so much to hear people complaining so much in forums like this. Complaining without making choices that will change things is just complaining to be complaining which is useless except for the therapeutic benefit of blowing off some steam about something that bothers you.

The bottom line, buying music from corporations that have consistantly ripped you off in the past (ie: $20 CD's with one decent song on them) Or putting up with them taking away your fair use rights while still supporting them by buying their products is a choice. It isn't one anyone has to make.
