Totally Agree
I am lucky enough to have a front projection 8' screen, Dolby Digtal surround, subwoofered, dedicated home theatre, and we still go to the movies once or twice a month exactly because of the social experience. And we still use the Theatre/Rental/Own It criteria. And some theatres have better facilities than I have and some don't. Here's a biggie: If we go to the movies it's usually dinner and a movie. And wouldn't it be nice to have dessert and coffee with the movie, like we can at home? Even in Seattle, good luck trying to find even truck-stop grade coffee in the local multiplexes, or something besides a huge box-o-overpriced, oversized, low-end candy.
