I wonder if all their patents would pass the review???

There is no mention, nor has anyone expressed an interest in having done, a review of IBMs patents.

In you are an interesting critter... I pointed out your inconsistancies (and general cluelessness about Intellectual Property Law), among other details related to software development methedologies.

To this, you responded with: Your ability to analize what I've written in which you failed to disprove my post. YOu mananged to get some response to:

4. I believe if you are going to call something open or free then that is exactlly what it should be. Open for ANY use, free of ANY encumberances.

You know better than that, people (including mself) have pointed out how youwee wrong here. Under US law (First Amendment), you are granted free speach but you are prohibited to shout 'fire' in a crowded theater in order to generate a stampeed.

The 2 terms that you have issue with have been in popular technical and business vocabulary for well over a decade (the GPL being from January 1989) and are posted on the Free Software Foundation site for several years. It uses the same definitiion of free as the US Constitution and Bill of Rights (especially the First Amendment). I suppose that you wish to dispute the rights as per those documents, also.
