remove the word, "free," from the English vocabulary as it is meaningless in a real, virtual, hypothetical, intangible and imagined way. Everything has a cost. That is why they speak of, "Free as in beer," and "free as in freedom."
Mandela is free but he still buys food. Beer is free but it can still intoxicate you. Linux is free but it still must be used according to the license. If you still cannot contend that Linux is free then you must also contend that there is no such thing as free beer and Mandela is still not free and the word, "free," means nothing.
