I'd love to believe that what I'm saying is far flung nonsense. But we only need to take a quick look at what has been happening the past few years, and guage, based on what we've been seeing, where it seems that we are headed.
And I do not see any end in sight for what seems to be the deliberate bankrupting of America. We have offshoring which is thinning out many, if not almost all, industries. We have the merging of America with poor nations in the form of NAFTA, CAFTA, etc. which will only further open up the US job market to, essentially, slave labor. This will of course only put more Americans out of work, or be forced to accept salaries at a fraction of what they used to make.
We have rampant gouging going on by many industries. An obvious one is oil/gas. We keep hearing about "peak oil" which is really just a myth cooked up by the gas companies in order to artificially jack up prices. Katrina didn't nearly do the damage to the oil rigs that we were told. It was all crap. Put it to you this way: if those rigs really did suffer all that damage, how is it that prices have already gone back down for gas? They fixed all the damage in less than two months??? Nonsense. I have to drive around as a part of my job, and I'm now averaging around $100 a week just for gas. That's now $400 a month, which is now a real bill to have to be taken into account for every month. And this is with prices at current levels. Once the illegal war with Iran starts, the gas companies will again whine and make up stories about how it's harder to get oil because shipments have been interrupted. Aww shucks, guess we'll have to drive up prices again!!!
And then there's the illegal wars the US is foisting on all the arab lands. We're already approaching something like half a TRILLION dollars for these illegal power grabs. And there seems to be no end in sight as far as continuing to fund these crimes. I'll bet the US will spend a trillion dollars on this nonsense before it's all said and done. And we get to foot that bill too!!! On top of having our jobs outsourced, paying through the nose just to drive to work, competing with Mexicans who are willing to work for diddly just to find residence in America, etc.
And now tack on the obscene and perpetually, exponentially rising trade deficit, combined with the fading dollar which is slowly but surely starting to be dumped by foreign investors, and America looks to be headed very soon for a bankruptcy that will make the Great Depression look like a picnic.
Once America is bankrupted, Americans will be slaves to the system FOREVER. And what's even more ominous, this system will be a third world police state, where people will only have as much rights as they have money. And as we are seeing, the money will be scarce, if it is there at all.
This is by far the biggest crisis this country is going to face, and sad to say, I do not see America living through it.
