I agree completely. The concept itself is simply wrong.

Spam needs to be dealt with in a much different manner than what Bill Gates would propose. It IS just like him to suggest charging for something that takes little or no effort on his part.

He'll be more than happy to make all Windows software comply with this tax idea of his. After all, he'll "need" a piece of this tax to compensate "his" efforts to make his software comply.

Ridiculous.
