Some points you missed, YeahRight
1. Hp WAS losing marketshare because they had an idiot running things. (Where is she now?) Not because of the quality of their products. Before I moved into my current job I worked part time at Best Buy in the tech bench, I also ran my own repair business. The machines that failed the most were Dells (by a long shot) and Compaqs. The machines that needed repair the least were HPs and E-Machines. Yes E-Machines. That one surprised me so much I took an informal poll of a few hundred techs. Got the same results. Dell by far the most and E-Machines the least.

2.PCs are a small fraction of HP's bottom line. They generate a lot more money from their corporate offerings like workstations, servers and storage products. Their decision to start selling Opteron based servers and workstations has paid off nicely for them. Even though they are playing "second fiddle" to EMC in the storage market, they do nicely there as well.

3. Their marketshare has been rebounding at a good pace with their new CEO and anylists are predicting growth for them for the first time since Carly got there.

Personally, I do not have any HP products. I build my own machines and always have. I used to buy their printers but didn't want to sell my kids into slavery to buy the ink. As for servers and storage products, well I am not that rich...

Please find some facts before posting. You look stupid when you don't.
