Guess I struck a nerve.
Sorry, I didn't mean to get you even more worked up. Relax a little. No one is "slamming" anyone here either. You felt the need to inject your misguided ramblings into a thread where my reply was to counter where soneone incorrectly stated the iPod was the first and that the iPod was new and innovative. I simply countered that with the truth and you and another Apple lover took personal offense and rushed to defend. You still haven't answered the simplest of questions. The only lack of reading comprehension has been by you in your selective response.

You ask where you have stated Apple was first but you forget your original reply.

||>>> Tell me exactly what technology they added (besides their flavor of DRM) that was new or innovative in any way? >>>

It's the Apple integration of the iPod, iTunes and the iTunes Music Store that has the other "iPod killers" beat, now and in the near future.||

I guess you're saying that you really weren't answering that question as much as using my post as your soap box. I can see you got overly emotional with you sarcasm, and persoanl attacks, which clouded your judgement to my second reply.

You never answered my second reply at all. Again, you conveniently started gabbing it up on MS again(for self-serving reasons).

Get this: MS has zero to do with the topic. We were disucussing only the iPod. I guess you fail to understand that but I can't help you on that.

In short:

iPod wasn't the first MP3 and wasn't prior to Creative's NomadII(The original topic that you conveniently want to run from).

The seamless part you mention was actually pretty easy prior to Apple. They just made it idiot proof and under one brand(with no choices of competitor players). I mean you do think competition is good right? Why not license the DRM then?

Your inital reponse needed to take shots becuase you took personal offense to my original reply. I think if you go back read it over again you'll see just how off base you were and are.

I'm not an MS lover and/or an Apple hater. It's only people who get emotional over Apple that took offense to my original reply. No offense was intended. You can at least see that, right?
