Another M$ monopoly in jeopardy
Company "F" handled all of its (internal) email via PROFS (mainframe-based) and its external email via (spare) UNIX servers. I remember we had one sun server that handled tens of thousands of email accounts. But the KILLER app was calendaring, and to get it the company went (against the reccommendations of the research panel) out and got Exchange. Millions of dollars and hundreds of Windoze servers later - Company "F" has calendaring (had it before, mind you). The Exchange gravy-train that has fueled M$ for so long could be comming to an end. A fate worse than death I hope . . .
