Why pay for something you can get for free?
"Why would you pay for something you get for free?" asked John Hogan, CEO of Clear Channel's radio business, echoing a mantra heard throughout the radio industry.

Ummm ... because sat radio has MANY more genres of music to choose from, and they actually play more than 20 songs on any given station. Here's some advice for Clear Channel - stop playing the same crap over and over and over again. Sometimes I won't tune into FM for months and when I do, I'm hearing many of the same songs still being played - hourly.

But even if you won't go for sat radio, you should be thankful for its existence. If nothing else, it'll give Clear Channel a swift kick in the pants, so FM will only get better as a result. (Heh, like it could possibly get any worse.)
