Acually you are so far off from being even close to correct!
I ride a bike 90% of the time as does the rest of my family. My home has solar panels that are configured to heat my water and by using a series of orifices combined with the heat, I am able to generate saturated steam to drive a turbine to produce electricity during the day. I am also in the process of building a wind mill generator for my home, as an addition to my power source so I can further remove myself from the grid.

My home has been updated with modern energy saving features, double pane glass, sealing wall outlets, improved insulation, to name a few things. 20-30% of my power comes from the main grid and that is generally in the evenings. Currently I am working on a design to modify my fireplace which is a dual function fireplace (wood / natural gas) to run water pipes through it so I can again by using various orifices and water pressure to create steam to drive my turbine at night. Natural gas with an approved emissions stack will be the cheapest way to go.

I used to be a power engineer in the Navy. And in that position I learned a hell of a lot more about the people in the world than you. I also learned a lot about how to not only produce energy but how to conserve it. My family has been green freindly as far back as I can remember.

So you care to make a retraction?
