Gee these people have PHd's
so that would imply they are pretty damn smart too... so if that's the case then they are also smart enough to know that the major oil corporations are on the same path as the horse and buggy and the dinosaur. Who wants to be around when that happens?

Nope the smart ones are putting their energy and talent where there will be a significant positive return over time on many levels. Alternative power sources are the wave of the future, those that refuse to get onboard will be annhiliated or absorbed by those that did.

Same thing happened with the automotive industry. Computers too... now it's power. Solar, wind, wave and alternate fuels are being built as viable solutions now, and they are improving phenomonally fast. The oil industry is dead, just nobody seems to have told them yet.
