My comment is quite logical, Your's is ilogical
Yes, computers have CD's in them too, but the majority that purchase them DONT stick them in their computers.

Why have both in the room? CD players come with radios attached in shelf units, as I like to listen to radio too. Would I have to by a radio card for my computer to listen to FM?. Whats's that costing me now? Why would I want to have to boot up my computer everytime I want to listen to the radio?

(Why do you own a DVD player in your living room when you can get one with your computer?)

Many people have CD players in their cars, so they don't have to take their laptops along to listen to their CD's. I don't drive specificly because I want to hear music, but if i'm in the car, I do want to listen to music.

As for the last line, where did THAT come from? That had nothing to do with what I post. OBVIOUSLY people buy CD's to listen to the artist! What, you think someone buys a CD just to put money into some corporate exec's pocket...?
