You Are So Right

How about a law requiring disclosure of the EULA right on the outside of the big huge software boxes printed with all the shiny happy people and other crap on it. They would NOT like that, for if people actually were given a choice before the purchase, a consumer would be able to make an informed decision. It also wouldn't be so easy to hide as it is with the pathetic little window you have to scroll through. It might also spur further competition by companies who don't put such Orwellian requirements and rules in the EULA to use their precious software. Get ready people. As soon as the high def conversion is in full swing they're ready with their attorneys to swoop in and take any right you have to fair use. They're courting the proper leaders as we type preparing to squelch even the hint of fair use we used to have. You know what fair use you're entitled to? None. Now go buy a Celine Dion CD (hehe).
