Your solution is nothing but a push for the illegal computer monopolist and the cartel which supports this monopolist to be the only legal solution.

A much more correct solution would be to prohibit the use of DRM on any copyrighted material and allow DRM only on material protected as a trade secret. Under this scenario the terms of the DMCA would not be unconstitutional, although the DMCA would have to have all reference to copyright excised and its name changed.
