But what the congress people are being fed is that this is for anti piracy measures. Surely they must know that criminals don't follow laws. If someone is willing to break copyright law then they are willing to break the DMCA and other law out there.
As long as there is profit to be made there will be infringement.
Are law makers really that stupid? They must know they are coming off like complete idiots, rich idiots but idiots none the less. Would you take $100,000 but you become infamous for being a morron.
