You might feel different if...
you in another country and secretly arrested for plotting terrorism.
You did not get to speak to your government, a lawyer, or your family. They would not even tell them you were arrested.
Them you were held for an extended period with no trial, no presentation of evidence.
So, even if you didn't have anything to hide, you couldn't tell anyone. You'd be crying like a baby.

While, I beleive we should track down every terrorist and bring them to justice; the ends do not justify the means.
People died fighting for our freedoms before and now, for us and others around the world; something that we paid for in lives and property of citizens of this nation. If another nation did this (wait didn't Iraq do this to foreign and even it's own citizens) then we would be up in arms about it.

For us to throw away due process is an insult to the country and the constitution.
Might does not make it right.
