I echo your sentiments exactly. The only place we differ is I still buy some CD's. They are from old Rock bands that fill out my collection.

I don't go to the movies or buy the DVDs because (1) I am tired of remakes of remakes of movies that I originally watched 20 to 30 years ago, War of The Worlds comes to mind (2) I am tired of the sequals and now "prequals" (whazzat all about) (3) And you are so right the actors and actresses are not "even" real.

Todays music in all genre lack any originality. I won't go see bands that I enjoyed as a kid. I used to be a big Stones fan but the thought of seeing 6 guys who clearly belong in the geriatrics ward singing Start Me Up just chills me to the bone. I mean Keith Richards? What is keeping that guy together.

And the b00b tube. I will spare you the rant.

"IMNSHO, all of this garbage should be served up through the medium of Charmin."
