No, no and no

The gun was not sold to the cop for the sole purpose of shooting someone. The gun was sold to the cop with the sole purpose of protecting him/herself and society at large. Also, the gun is more about the threat of lethal force than actual lethal force. Know many cops? It's a lot different than what you see on TV.

The fact that the gun is easy to conceal means nothing. So your Honda can do 120 mph. Is that a defense against a speeding ticket?

And personally responsiblity has to kick in somewhere. Does the fact that Miller acknowledges that drunk drivers exist the same thing as promoting drunk driving? No, and they are doing more. They are saying, "we know it's a problem. The solution we suggest is to have a designated driver." This is a great example of a company acting responsibily.

The argument you wanted to make is what about Big Tobacco? Doesn't their product cause death and health problems (not to mention fires, etc.) when used EXACTLY AS INTENDED? The answer is yes, and that's why states are suing them.
