Of course Google will bid after AOL
It makes total, total sense that Google would go
after AOL. It lets them keep google.com just a simple search engine site while using aol.com, netscape.com, icq.com and lord knows whatelse to extend their reach. It really is the perfect buy for them -- of course, it could go horrible wrong as it did for TimeWarner. The question is -- will TimeWarner get a stake in Google? AOL is worth more than the $7b that Google has in cash right now.
