I think everybody is missing the point. The main reason Apple is switching to Intel is because they want to compete in the laptop market. Power chips run to hot and require to much power. Thus Intel with it's centrino and next gen mobile offerings make more sense to apple. After all what would you rather have? a laptop that runs for 6 hrs or 1 hrs. So if they are going to switch processors in one product it just makes sense to do it accross the board.
