Misses the point
The question isn't one of whether some information should be
protected, it's one of practicality. DRM has been around for more
than 10 years, and every single method tried has been nearly
instantly cracked.

Yes, privacy is a good thing, but spending huge amounts of money
on DRM has so far proven to be a waste of money.
