Full landfills aren't the problem.
So long as they are filled with inert material that stays put, we have endless landfill space. The real problem with landfills is when they leak or pollute in other ways.

From a landfill perspective, the only problem with this new form of paper is it likely won't absorb/trap the other nasty stuff it is placed next to as well as normal paper.
