I don't see the savings
So the energy you used to use at night is now used in the morning. Where's the savings?

I'm mean if you have 12 hours of darkness shifting the time around isn't going to make it 11 hours.

Now you mention lives. The time shift to DST has been killing people for years. The Monday following a time change, I forget which one, has a severe increase in traffic fatalities. The other one just stays normal.
