or did you miss the part where the part of the bill that pushes this was authored by a Republican AND a Democrat?

or are you just looking for another ignorant reason to Bush bash?

And your comments about "the artic and pristine areas" indicates you are talking about ANWAR. Have you even bothered doing any research on ANWAR and what they want to do there? Out of the millions (yes, millions) of acres there, they want to drill in about 2,000 acres - all of which has about as much in common with any area of the moon - pretty much barren rock. Explain to me how that is considered "pristine"? I'd really love to hear it.

And before you start spouting off about how it's going to ruin the mating season of the caribou or some such nonsense, please remember that argument was tried with the Alaskan Pipleline - only to have it increase the population of the native fauna.

I don't what is worse, the IGNORANCE of people like you who spout off about something they absolutely know nothing about or the ARROGANCE of said same people for spouting off about something they know they don't know anything about.
