What a joke! Maybe some day we'll do something that matters...
Oh good. Let's make everyone monitor their IT systems and other critical pieces of equipment, while at the same time sending kids to school in the dark. Brilliant.

Funny how the bill doesn't seem to do anything that might tamper at all with oil companies or automakers. Perhaps that has something to do with George "Big Oil" Bush???

I don't see any real emphasis on conservation. A true leader would at least attempt to give Americans a dose of reality by telling us to get rid of the SUV's, etc. The more dependent we are on foreign oil, the more vulnerable we are to terrorism and other undesireable situations. But instead of true conservation, we would rather just screw up the Artic and other few remaining pristine areas by drilling for oil.

Oh well, at least we can keep our lights off for an extra half-hour a day. Way to go Congress!
