First if I had a kid I would prepare him for what
is in store, by not buying them many toys,
insisting that they take care of what they have,
and trying to instill a financially conservative
view of the world. Lowering expectations of a
high paying job, an oversized house, or a
celebrity lifestyle.

The party is over in America, stratification has
begun between the classes, and within 20 years we
will finally begin to get jobs back, as we have a
new poorer class to work for pennies a day like
many do in "third world countries".

Keep buying all that crap at wal mart and sending
your money to china, keep throwing away all the
resources left in the world, so that your
children can pick through the garbage in years to
come.

Try to explain how you blew the kids future
supporting your own selfishness, vanity, and lack
of political caring. Or maybe you can have the
nanny teach the kid, whatever.
