get real!
This sounds like you are scared of competition. dont learn CS?
Learn whatever you want and if you are good at it you will find work. What you fail to realize is that the more they offshore, the more money the offshore suppliers will demand as the quality of life increases in these "developing" countries (no pun intended). Once it costs as much to offshore as it does to house it in the mainland. it comes back.. And once that happens what are you gonna do? Tell you kids not to learn CS or IT? Nope you'll tell them to learn it and it will create a competitive landscape. Thats what these developing countries from the old Communist regimes (china, eastern Europe) dont understand. Free market dynamics. Its already happening in India. What until China starts charging to much. All you work will get outsourced to Africa once is settles down.
