OffShore Is Not A Solution
The teeth of the beast are upon us. We are outsourcing the jobs that are American's. In these tough times of high taxes, crime, terrorism, and identity theft, we are now loosing jobs?!?!? Something is wrong with this picture. I have no degree but I am considered a top notch IT professional at my place of employment and I am afraid to even attempt to find another job in IT. We do not have all technical people nor do we have all management people, and this whole "let?s send the routine tasks overseas" is garbage. I know at least 25 or more entry level IT people that can't find a job in my area or surrounding cities because there are none. And the American companies are Offshoring "Routine IT Tasks"? Let?s put America Back to Work and stop all this nonsense. Yes companies are struggling with high taxes and large overheads. But we also have to look at what is going on here, and I see first hand with no study or numbers a great black hole that is slowly sucking the life blood out of the IT industry in America (Heck, it probably is doing it to all industies). That?s not to say there will be no IT Industry but more like there will be companies and management here and their workers in another country. To me it doesn't make sense and we are hurting ourselves.

Thanks for this great talkback service. And thank you for reading this.
