At least the up front about it
I've seen age discrimination as a regualar practice in the workplace just most businesses aren't up front about it.

Many won't hire 50+ because you may retire at anytime. It's not worth head aches. I know place that won't hire you at age 22 due lack of life experience. I seen place that hire 35-45 only.

Should it happen? I don't know. I might not be all that wrong but it does tick you off if you excluded for lacking life experience as I've experienced in the past. It'll tick me off when I'm 50 and can't find work too.
